AI Academy Breakfast Meeting – Automating Claims Processing
The first session of the AI Academy Breakfast Meeting Series, co-organized by eData, Copart MENA, Solera, and FIFE, launched an ambitious initiative to boost AI understanding and application within the MENA insurance industry. Designed as an informal yet focused platform, the session brought together insurance professionals to explore AI’s potential, address its challenges, and examine real-world use cases.
The event featured technical deep dives into AI agents and insurance transformation strategies by speakers including Dr. Atif Ahmad (Head of Data Science, eData) and Bas Van Rooij (Managing Director, Postuma Partners). The session was moderated by Frederik Bisbjerg, Deputy CEO at eData, and drew over 70 professionals eager to exchange ideas, learn, and connect. The participation of Mr. Fareed Lutfi from the Emirates Insurance Association underscored the event’s importance to the regional industry.
The session set a strong foundation for the series by combining theoretical insight with practical application and establishing a dynamic forum for AI education and collaboration.
